The Process
This is a simple process breakdown of how I approach environment concept art.
We begin with a client brief that tells us of the concept's parameters. For this project, we are designing a teenage bedroom.
We always begin with searching for relevant references that pertain to the topic.
We ask ourselves the key W.W.W.W.
Who, What, When, Where
ie.) A teenager with a passion in journalism in 1970's New York City
Once we have multiple design sketching we begin to execute our ideations in 3D
and draw clean line work & values to accentuate our design decisions.
Often we may want to experiment with the perspective to emphasize the focal point.
This can be achieved through many visual cues, such as in value, color, or proportion.
